Serie A giants AC Milan are set for a summer move for USMNT star forward Folarin Balogun, who has excelled this season on loan at Reims.
The 21-year-old hitman bagged his 20th Ligue 1 goal of a fabulous individual season for The Red and Whites in a 2-2 draw with Angers at the weekend and according to the Italian website Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are interested in lowering the age profile of their current front line with Olivier Giroud and flop Divock Origi not deemed long term solutions for Stefano Pioli’s men.
Folarin Balogun heavily linked with AC Milan
Balogun, who last week announced he had switched his allegiances to play for the US national side, would be keen on a permanent move away from his parent club Arsenal, where he has failed to make a real impact in the first time.
And with World Cup winner Giroud set to turn 37 and wantaway forward Origi rumored with leaving the club this summer, there is a real belief that USMNT’s newest attacker could be leading the line at the San Siro next season.
