All-time legend Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly desperate to leave Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr as soon as possible.
The Portuguese icon is extremely unhappy and wants to cut ties with life in Western Asia only five months after arriving according to Spanish sports outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Portugal record top goalscorer Ronaldo keen on return to Europe
Despite Ronaldo’s impressive record of 13 goals in 14 matches for Al Nassr, the Champions League record goalscorer is keen on a return to Europe after failing to settle in Saudi Arabia.
If Ronaldo is able to push through a move, the Portugal captain would have to pay Al Nassr the money lost to the club in compensation. This may prove to be more difficult than it sounds, however, with Ronaldo currently earning approximately $215m a year.
It has been reported by Mundo Deportivo, that the ex-Real Madrid forward has held informal talks with Los Blancos President Florentino Perez, although a sensational return to the Bernabeu is not close to facilitating yet.
