Manchester United are reportedly looking at Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos in a bid to strengthen their attacking lineup this summer.

And according to The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell, United have enquired about the Portuguese hitman with Harry Kane still reportedly manager Erik Ten Hag’s number one target to lead the line for the Red Devils next season.
Ramos’ physicality and goal-scoring record tick many a box for the ideal Premier League center forward and with Ramos eight years Kane’s junior, the Portuguese could be seen as a better option for the long-term future at Old Trafford.
It could be a concern for Ten Hag, however, that Ramos has not shown his quality in one of Europe’s top five leagues yet, with former Benfica hitman Darwin Nunez blowing hot and cold during his first season at Liverpool this term.
