Manchester City are prepared to sell Joao Cancelo this summer once he has returned to the club following his loan spell at Bayern Munich during the second half of this season.
The 29-year-old won the Bundesliga title on Saturday following the Bavarians’ 2-1 win at Koln and rivals Borussia Dortmund’s failure to beat Mainz at home.
Bavarians not set to pay asking price for Portuguese full-back
Bayern are thought to have been put off by the whopping $75m asking price for a 29-year-old, who will likely not have much selling on value in a few years’ time. But according to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, Pep Guardiola is determined to find a buyer for his wantaway full-back, with Arsenal and Barcelona reportedly interested.

Despite being Premier League rivals, Arsenal and Manchester City are not unaccustomed to working together on transfers, with the Gunners signing Oleksander Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus from the Citizens last summer.
Romano also reports that any move from Barcelona for the Portuguese would depend on the Catalans aligning with the parameters set out in UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Regulations with the Spanish giants’ current financial predicament making a potential deal look unlikely at this stage.
