Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot has committed his future to the club by signing a new five-year deal with the Red Devils.
United boss Erik Ten Hag is a notable fan of the once-out-of-favor Portuguese international and his performances both at right-back and left-back this season have warranted a new long-term contract at the club.

This season has been Dalot’s best at Old Trafford since arriving from Portugal back in 2018 for $23.5m under the stewardship of compatriot Jose Mourinho. Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer however, Dalot saw his first-team opportunities limited and was eventually sent out on loan for the 2020-2021 season to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Dutchman Ten Hag was committed to keeping Dalot, who is still only 24, at Old Trafford and sees the right-back as a key part of his long-term plans at the club.
