Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has turned down the opportunity to move to Saudi Arabia in order to continue his career in Europe.
The 31-year-old was seen out on the grid at the Monaco Grand Prix before the race on Sunday rather than celebrating his side’s Ligue 1 title success with his teammates, adding to speculation about his future with the Parisians.
Brazilian forward rejects Saudi Arabia move
According to Foot Mercato Santi Aouna the Brazilian superstar has turned down a potentially lucrative move from Saudi Arabia to stay in Europe, handing the advantage to Manchester United, who are believed to be Neymar’s favored choice.
It has been no secret that Paris Saint-Germain are looking to offload Neymar in the summer but with four years set to run on his current deal, decision-makers will not let one of their star assets leave on the cheap.
Earlier this month, some PSG ultras gathered outside the Brazilian’s home on the outskirts of Paris demanding Neymar left the club following another disappointing season in Europe for the French champions.
