Eredivisie winners Feyenoord have made their first bid to sign USMNT striker Ricardo Pepi from German club Augsburg.
The Dutch champions are aware of the interest in the 20-year-old from other clubs around Europe, including Lazio and PSV Eindhoven, and have moved swiftly to table their first bid.

The Texan hitman has starred on loan at Dutch side Groningen, notching 13 times this season in all competitions. And according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, negotiations continue between Augsburg and Feyenoord, who were given a big boost following head coach Arne Slot’s decision to stay at the club after interest linking him with the vacant Tottenham hot seat.

Pepi is believed to continue in a league he feels comfortable in and will compete with the likes of Brazilian forward Danilo and this season’s top goalscorer Santiago Gimenez for a place in the first team.
