Newcastle United are closing in on the signing of exciting teenage star Yankuba Minteh from Danish club Odense.
The deal will cost the Magpies close to $7.5m subject to a work permit and the Gambian winger will undertake a medical at St James Park next week.

The 18-year-old has successfully broken into the Danish side this season, notably scoring the winning goal against Copenhagen three minutes into his debut as a substitute back in September.
According to Danish-based journalist Farzam Abolhosseini, Minteh will be loaned out by the Geordies once his move has been confirmed by the club. In order to pass a medical check, Minteh has ruled himself out of Odense’s match against FC Midtjylland at the weekend.
@jonas_dalgard https://t.co/sKDckDMkn4
