Man United remain in the market for a new striker this summer, and the club is assessing alternative options in case their approach for Harry Kane falls short.
One rumored target comes in the form of Atalanta’s Rasmus Højlund, with the Dane reportedly keen on making the switch after stating that he is a huge Manchester United supporter.

United’s interest in the striker is strong, and they could be tempted to make their move this summer if their move for Kane falls short. However, Atalanta are asking for a fee in the region of $60 million to part ways with the forward, according to FootballInsider.
The 20-year-old’s interest in a move to Old Trafford could make the deal slightly easier for the Red Devils, as personal terms aren’t likely to be an issue.
Højlund scored eight goals and registered two assists in Serie A for Atalanta in 2022-23, and caught the eye for Denmark in the opening round of EURO qualifiers with five goals in two matches.
