Napoli are reportedly already weighing up striker options ahead of the summer transfer window in case Victor Osimhen leaves the club.
One target that they have identified, according to The Mirror is American striker Folarin Balogun. The on-loan Arsenal ace is also attracting interest from Serie A rivals AC Milan.
Napoli & AC Milan in race for Balogun
Balogun’s performances throughout 2022-23 have attracted interest from across Europe, as he has netted 20 goals in 36 Ligue 1 matches for Reims.
Arsenal look set to cash in on the 21-year-old this summer, and the Gunners will be looking for a figure in the region of $30 million.
Given the asking price, a return to Reims next season looks incredibly unlikely for the striker, but an option to stay in Ligue 1 has emerged as PSG are also monitoring the situation.
It is believed that the Gunners will look to cash in on the star in order to finance a move for Declan Rice this summer.
