New Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is set to waste no time and attempt to sign three Premier League stars including Leicester’s James Maddison this summer.
According to The Daily Mirror’s chief football writer John Cross, the Australian wants to beat Champions League qualifiers Newcastle to the race for the relegated star, who is valued at around $50m.

Maddison will have to return to the Premier League this summer if he is to have any chance of starting for Gareth Southgate’s England side in next year’s European Championships.
And the 26-year-old tops a three-man shortlist that Postecoglou believes will immediately improve struggling Spurs.
The list also includes Brentford’s impressive goalkeeper David Raya, who is set to replace departing number one and club captain Hugo Lloris, and Wolves’ central defender Max Kilman, who has enjoyed an outstanding season for Julen Lopetegui’s goal-shy side.
