Manchester City have agreed personal terms with Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic ahead of a summer move from Chelsea.
The 29-year-old only has 12 months left on his deal at Stamford Bridge and according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the two parties have been able to strike a deal following advanced talks this week.

Kovacić wants the move, next step has to be between clubs as Chelsea and City will discuss fee after the UCL final.

Chelsea midfielder set to move to Manchester
Kovacic has struggled for the Blues this season and is thought to want to move to the Etihad Stadium with Chelsea open to the idea of selling the Croat, expecting the midfielder will not to sign a new contract.
Talks will continue between the two clubs next week following City’s Champions League final against Inter Milan at the weekend with the transfer fee expected to be around $20m to $25m.
