Manchester United look set to strengthen multiple positions across the field this summer, including in the right-back area.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has impressed in the second half of the season under Erik ten Hag, but the Dutchman remains keen on adding a more attack-minded full-back to the squad over the summer.
Man United monitoring Dumfries
A player that United have been long-term admirers of is Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries. According to reports in The Athletic, the Red Devils are keeping close tabs on the Dutchman’s future at the club this summer.
In the report, it claims that the Italian side could be willing to part ways with the full-back this summer if their $35 million valuation is met. However, it’s likely there will be no talks before Inter Milan’s Champions League final showdown with Manchester City on Saturday.
Dumfries has been a standout star for Inter across all competitions this season, as he has scored two goals and registered four assists. The 27-year-old is also attracting interest from a number of other European clubs, including Chelsea.
