Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund has admitted he is flattered by reported interest from the Premier League giants.
The 20-year-old forward impressed in his first full Serie A season with Atalanta, scoring 10 times in the league last term. And speaking to Danish news outlet Berlingske ahead of his country’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Northern Ireland on Friday, Hojlund said about United, “It’s a huge club, so I must have done something right if it says they want me. My goal is to reach the top shelf, and you can say that Manchester United is. So it will be huge.”

And according to the Manchester Evening News, Denmark teammate Christian Eriksen could be key to any potential move for Hojlund, with his insight potentially influencing any decision to join the club following his first season at Old Trafford.
Hojlund, who has been compared to fellow Scandinavian Manchester City’s target man Erling Haaland, is a self-confessed boyhood United fan and idolized ex-Red Devils forward Cristiano Ronaldo growing up.
