MLS side New York City FC are amongst the clubs interested in teenage sensation Adama Bojang who starred at this year’s Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Bojang’s agency SPOCS were the same team who first spotted the talents of African sensation Mohammed Salah and according to Italian Fabrizio Romano, the City Football Group-owned side are tracking the 19-year-old as well as French club Lens, who finished only one point behind Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain.

NYCFC set to bid for next African star?
Bojang is currently plying his trade for Gambian outfit Steve Biko FC, a side named after the South African civil rights activist of the same name who was murdered in 1978.
At six foot three inches, Bojang has been nicknamed “the Gambian Hurricane” and scored the winner in the semi-final of the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations against Nigeria for a Gambia squad that eventually finished runner-up in the tournament.
