Arsenal are plotting a sensational move for forward Kai Havertz from London rivals Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has failed to kick on following his first two promising seasons with the West Londoners, with Havertz’s highlight for the club being the winning goal in the 2020-2021 Champions League final in Porto against Manchester City.
Kai Havertz linked with summer switch to the Gunners
According to reputable journalist Charles Watts, the German international is being discussed internally as an option this summer by the Arsenal hierarchy after their lack of top-class front-line options proved fatal in their Premier League title run-in with eventual champions Manchester City.

Havertz has a rather more defendable record at international level, however, and can boast about an impressive 13 goals from 35 appearances for Die Mannschaft, including one against Ukraine in Monday’s entertaining 3-3 friendly played at Werder Bremen’s Weserstadion.
