Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Kylian Mbappe if Sheikh Jassim’s takeover bid is successful.
In a highly publicized move, Mbappe informed Paris Saint-Germain chiefs that he doesn’t wish to extend his contract at the Parc des Princes beyond 2024, a decision that has reportedly infuriated the Parisians Qatari owners.
World Cup sensation set for Red Devils?
As reported yesterday, there is growing speculation that the Premier League giants will be sold to the Qataris by the Glazer family, who have owned the club since 2005. And according to the Spanish newspaper El Pais, sources close to PSG’s owners informed Kylian Mbappe personally they were looking into a potential move to Old Trafford as early as January.
Mbappe announced on Twitter yesterday that he was happy to remain in the French capital for another year, but at risk of losing their most prized asset on a free transfer next season, PSG chiefs have made it clear to the World Cup winner to either extend his contract now or be prepared to be sold this summer.
