Manchester United look set to enter the race to sign Inter Milan keeper Andre Onana this summer.
The Red Devils will step up their pursuit of a new goalkeeper after there is growing tension that David De Gea could leave the club after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Old Trafford.
Man United add Onana to shortlisted goalkeepers
Erik ten Hag is keen to add a new goalkeeper to his squad this summer, regardless of whether De Gea signs a new deal. However, there is growing concern that the Spaniard may opt to leave the club when his deal expires this summer.
United do have the option to trigger an extra 12 months, but they are reluctant to keep the Spaniard on his current wage. The Red Devils have a shortlist of goalkeeper options, which includes Porto’s Diogo Costa, and Everton’s Jordan Pickford.
However, Onana has now been added to their options, according to The Guardian. Chelsea remain the front-runners to sign the goalkeeper, as they look to improve on their options currently available.
