Manchester United will pursue a move for Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund after dropping out of the race to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer.
The England captain is expected to leave next summer on a free transfer but Erik Ten Hag believes he needs a center forward immediately, and Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund is at the top of his shopping list.

Sources close to United say that Ten Hag is in the market for a new goalkeeper, center back, and center forward as a priority this summer. And Hojlund has already confirmed he would be more than keen on a summer move to Old Trafford, saying to the Danish news outlet Berlingske, “My goal is to reach the top shelf, and you can say that Manchester United is.”
According to Fabrizio Romano, Hojlund remains a realistic target for United, who believe Tottenham had no interest in selling England captain Kane to them this summer.
