Paris Saint-Germain are no longer interested in appointing German coach Julian Nagelsmann as their manager for the next season.
The 35-year-old was rumored to be the French champions’ first choice as they look to make a quick appointment this summer once Christophe Galtier leaves his post at the end of the month.
Julian Nagelsmann turns down PSG
Since leaving Bayern Munich in March, Nagelsmann has been in talks to take over at Chelsea, Tottenham, and the Parisians but has failed to complete negotiations with any of them.
According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, the decision was mutual between the two parties with Nagelsmann not agreeing with some of PSG’s policies for their long-term future.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will now concentrate on contacting a new coach after Sporting Director Jorge Campos traveled to Nagelsmann’s holiday destination of Montenegro to progress talks this week.
