Antoine Griezmann has opened the door for a potential switch to the MLS when his time in European soccer comes to an end.
The 32-year-old told reporters, via GOAL, that it was a ‘dream’ to one day play in the MLS, but stopped short in insisting that a deal could be completed in the near future.
Griezmann dreams of MLS switch
The Atletico Madrid star was talking to the press ahead of France’s upcoming EURO qualifier against Greece. Griezmann was quizzed over Lionel Messi’s recent move to Inter Miami, and claimed that he would love to join a franchise in North America later in his career.
However, a move to the MLS isn’t likely to come this summer, as the forward insisted that his short-term future is with Atletico Madrid.
Griezmann enjoyed a fine season in the Spanish capital in 2022-23, as he netted 15 goals to help Atletico finish the season in third spot.
