According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, former Barca captain Busquets has been offered two lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia but prefers a move to the United States for the benefit of his family and to reunite with Lionel Messi, who he played with at the Nou Camp for 13 seasons running.

As for Alba, talks remain ongoing between the two parties with a deal expected to be completed soon with the former Valencia player out of contract at the Nou Camp following an 11-year spell that has seen him win six La Liga’s and the UEFA Champions League in 2015.
