Portuguese international midfielder Ruben Neves has completed his move to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.
The 26-year-old central midfielder has become a Premier League star playing for Wolves for whom he joined from Portuguese giants Porto back in 2017.

Due to his ability to play as a defensive midfield pivot and as a number eight, Neves was tipped to move to Spanish champions Barcelona with Xavi openly stating his admiration of the Portuguese, saying earlier this month, “Neves is a good player… I would take him as well because he’s a quality player. There’s no doubt about that.”
Club captain Neves said a tearful goodbye to the Molineux faithful in Wolves’ final home match of the season after their 1-1 draw against Everton and according to Sky Sports, the midfielder with an eye for goal has completed his $60m transfer today, signing with Al Hilal on a three-year contract.

Wolves’ number eight was a second-half substitute for Portugal during his nation’s 3-0 Euro 2024 qualifier win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in Lisbon on Saturday, providing an assist for Bruno Fernandes’ first of his two goals.
