Former Real Madrid and Manchester United wing wizard Angel Di Maria is set to complete his move to new Portuguese champions Benfica.
The 35-year-old has won all there is to during a long and illustrious career that has seen him play at the highest level now for almost two decades.
Angel Di Maria set for second spell with the Eagles
Di Maria first left Benfica for Real Madrid 13 years ago but his well-awaited homecoming is expected to be announced in the next few days with the World Cup winner set to sign a one-year contract with the Lisbon-based giants according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Benfica’s interest comes just nine days before Di Maria was set to become a free agent following his release from Italian giants Juventus, who decided against extending the winger’s contract. During his first spell with the Eagles Di Maria won the Portuguese title in his final season with the club, Benfica’s first for five years at the time.
