Arsenal target Kai Havertz will have his medical with the Gunners this weekend before his move across London in one of the biggest transfers of the summer.
The German international moved to Chelsea only three seasons ago for what was a then club record fee of $113.8m but Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has accepted to cut his losses after Havertz stated he would not sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge in favor of pushing through a move to the North Londoners.
Kai Havertz will become an Arsenal player this weekend
According to ESPN writer James Olley, Havertz’s medical will take place this weekend outside of the UK ahead of the big-money move with an official announcement expected to be made by Mikel Arteta’s men at the beginning of next week.

Havertz brings big-match experience to the Emirates Stadium, establishing himself as a regular in the German national side and scoring the only goal in the Blues’ Champions League final win in 2021. The 24-year-old will become the Gunners first signing this summer ahead of a potentially extremely busy transfer window at Arsenal, with Jurrien Timber, Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia all being lined up.
