USMNT hitman Ricardo Pepi is just hours away from completing his move to Dutch cup double winners PSV Eindhoven from German side FC Augsburg on a permanent deal.
The 20-year-old was one of the breakout stars of the Eredivisie last season and the Texan is due to continue his development in the Netherlands with one of the country’s three big clubs.
Ricardo Pepi set for PSV switch
Last week Pepi was on target during USMNT’s impressive but ill-tempered 3-0 victory over rivals Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League semi-final played out in Las Vegas, continuing an excellent scoring rate for the national team for whom he has notched seven times in just 16 appearances.
And according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, an announcement regarding Pepi’s transfer is set to be made today with personal terms nearly in completion.

Personal terms agreement has to follow and then deal will be done with Dutch side despite today’s reports about Feyenoord.

Reports suggesting that Eredivisie champions Feyenoord were set to make a last-minute swoop for Pepi are believed to be wide of the mark with the Eindhoven-based outfit always being comfortably in the driving seat for the former FC Dallas forward.
