Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has emerged as a shock summer transfer target for German giants Borussia Dortmund.

The midfielder spent the entirety of the 2022-23 season on loan at Championship side Birmingham City, and the Red Devils are open to offers for the Tunisian.

Man United will have a decision to make on the long-term future of the midfielder, as a number of clubs are showing an interest. The latest reports from Manchester Evening News are claiming that Dortmund are willing to offer $15 million to sign the 20-year-old.

Mejbri spent last season on loan at Birmingham City, and impressed throughout the Championship campaign.

A final decision isn’t likely to be made by Erik ten Hag until he has seen the Tunisian international in action during United’s upcoming pre-season tour in the United States.

At present, all options are on the table from a United perspective, as he could also be loaned back out to another English side for the 2023-24 campaign.
