Al Ahli set to be newest club with Premier League star
The Saudi Professional League has greeted the shock arrivals of Premier League stars such as N’Golo Kante, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Ruben Neves in recent weeks but Firmino’s arrival in Western Asia may raise slightly fewer eyebrows following his release from Liverpool at the end of the last season.
The Brazilian international scored in his final two appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds and during his eight-year spell at Anfield, he won everything on offer including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, the League Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
