Premier League giants Chelsea have completed the signing of 17-year-old Jamaican starlet Dujuan “Whisper” Richards.
In an official announcement placed on the club’s website, the Blues confirmed the deal has been completed with the Jamaican set to join the club following his 18th birthday.

The teenager was handed his Jamaican national team debut earlier this year against Trinidad and Tobago and he played 90 minutes for his country against Qatar earlier this month.
In February, Richards was offered a two-week trial by Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Newcastle with the forward stating he was “expecting to hear positively” from the Magpies.
However, a full-time professional contract did not materialize and the Jamaican is set to move to West London in October. Richards was also an unused substitute during Jamaica’s 1-1 draw in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Group A fixture played at Chicago Fire’s Soldier Field at the weekend.
