Newcastle United have made an enquiry for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri. The club are weighing up moves for a number of versatile forwards.

Newcastle are well-stocked in the number nine area, but the club look keen to add to their options after allowing Chris Wood to depart.

Eddie Howe remains keen on bringing in a new forward, and En-Nesyri ranks high on their potential targets, according to the Sunday Mirror, via Chronicle Live.

The club have enquired about his availability, with West Ham United also among the clubs interested in making a move for the Morocco international.

En-Nesyri has been at Sevilla since 2020, and has played a key role in two Europa League-winning campaigns. Last season, he scored twice in a 3-0 win against Man United in the quarterfinals.

In total, the striker scored 18 goals in 48 matches across all competitions last term.
