Newcastle United could be edging closer toward announcing another huge deal this summer, as they are in advanced talks with Southampton for full-back Tino Livramento.
The latest reports in the Telegraph have confirmed that the Magpies are close to agreeing on a $20 million deal for the defender.

Livramento is believed to be among a number of players that will leave the Saints this summer following their relegation to the Championship. Eddie Howe is keen to add a full-back to his team, and the 20-year-old fits the bill after impressing at St Mary’s in 2021-22.
The defender signed for the Saints from Chelsea in the summer of 2021, and went on to make 28 appearances in the Premier League. However, his game time was limited last term after missing 392 days due to an ACL injury.
Livramento made his return to action on May 21 in a 3-1 loss against Brighton. Newcastle could make the full-back their second signing of the summer, with the deal for Sandro Tonali set to be announced this week.
