Former United star Jesse Lingard open to Saudi Arabia move
The 30-year-old signed a one-year deal with Nottingham Forest at the start of the 2022-23 season after being released by Man United.
However, the former England international failed to make an impression at the City Ground, as he failed to register a goal or assist in 17 Premier League outings.
Lingard was quizzed over a potential move to Saudi Arabia, and he revealed that the nation is doing ‘big things’ for the sport.
He revealed that he was ‘considering’ a move to the Gulf, as he could follow other Premier League stars, such as N’Golo Kante and Ruben Neves to the Middle East.
A move to the MLS was also teased, but D.C. United boss Wayne Rooney shot down any prospect that Lingard could be moving to the nation’s capital.
