Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is plotting on raiding his old club in an attempt to bring USMNT defender Cameron Carter-Vickers to North London.
The 25-year-old central defender impressed last season in Scotland under Postecoglou as the pair completed a historic treble together with the Glasgow-based giants.
Cameron Carter-Vickers linked with re-joining Spurs
As written in the Scottish Sun, the England-born man is part of a posse of players the Australian would be keen on bringing to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well as the Japanese stand-out pair Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate.
Carter-Vickers began his professional career at Tottenham in 2016 and spent six years at the club but failed to make a single Premier League appearance for the club. Instead, Carter-Vickers went out on-loan seven different times during his time with the Lilywhites, including a loan deal which then became permanent with Celtic.
The defender has made a total of 12 appearances for the USMNT and despite spending his whole life in the UK became eligible to play for the Stars and Stripes due to his father being an American citizen.
