Turkish club Besiktas want to sign former Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho for a cut-price deal from Premier League outfit Aston Villa.
The 31-year-old failed to hold down a place for the Villains since the arrival of head coach Unai Emery last October, with the ex-Kopite not featuring for a single minute in the club’s last 15 Premier League matches of the season.

Coutinho’s technical flare and excellence failed to join hand-in-hand with Emery’s hard-working and often functional 4-4-2 set up and the Brazilian was often left out of the squad for the final three months of last season.
According to the Turkish news outlet Milliyet, Coutinho may move to the Istanbul-based outfit on loan with an option to buy for around $8.5m- a relative steal for the Brazilian international who has shown glimpses of his class for the Villa, including goals against Manchester United, Manchester City, and Arsenal during his 18 months in Birmingham.
