Premier League giants Manchester United are considering making a bid for Benfica’s teenage midfielder Joao Neves.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a stunning breakthrough season last term, starting all six of the Eagles’ last league fixtures on the way to securing their first Liga NOS title in four years.

The Red Devils have already been rumored with making a move for Neves’ Benfica teammate Goncalo Ramos this summer but the midfielder with an eye for goal has also not gone under the radar at Old Trafford according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The midfielder born in 2004 has already played for the Portugues giants in the Champions League knockout stages and scored a crucial goal in Benfica’s 2-2 draw at city rivals Sporting Lisbon which helped clinch a point on the penultimate match of the season on the way to a final-day title win against Santa Clara.
Contracted up until 2028, however, Neves is likely to command a huge figure if United are able to pry him away from the Portuguese capital this summer.
