West Ham United will have over $100 million to invest in their squad this summer following the impending sale of Declan Rice.
David Moyes has drawn up a shortlist of potential targets, which includes a move for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
Harry Maguire among West Ham targets
A large percentage of the funds raised following the sale of Rice will be available for incoming transfers, and West Ham could splash the cash to improve their backline.
Maguire is a player that Moyes has liked throughout his career, and a deal could be reached with Man United willing to offload the club captain.
The England international fell down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag, with Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane being the preferred pairing. Maguire was also overlooked following Martinez’s injury, with Victor Lindelof recalled to the starting line-up.
The Hammers are also looking at a number of midfield options to replace Rice, according to the Mirror. Both Denis Zakaria and Amadou Onana are among the players being linked with the London Stadium.
