McKennie becomes the third USMNT star player to be linked with the Black and Reds, following high-profile summer swoops for Valencia’s Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.
The Rossoneri are currently in the market to solidify the heartbeat of their midfield with top asset Sandro Tonali set to leave the San Siro for Premier League side Newcastle imminently.
