Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has dismissed reports he is set to leave the Nou Camp for Premier League club Aston Villa this summer.
Speaking to the Spanish news outlet Jijantes whilst on holiday in Valencia, the 23-year-old wide forward said, “I’ve been very calm on vacation and disconnected. I can’t wait to continue at Barcelona. I’m really happy at Barca and my plan is to continue at the club”.

Ferran Torres set to stay at Nou Camp
The former Manchester City and Valencia winger enjoyed a successful season with the Catalans last term, winning his first La Liga of his career whilst also retaining his place in the Spanish national team.
Torres’ quotes come just hours after he was heavily rumored with a loan to Aston Villa this summer by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, with Villa boss Unai Emery’s Spanish revolution taking shape after the Villains yesterday agreed a $35m fee for Villarreal defender Pau Torres- with whom Ferran shares no relation.
