Mason Mount to complete transfer within next 24 hours
Mount is expected to pass his medical without any issues but missed most of the second half of last term with the Blues due to a pelvis injury picked up at the beginning of March.
The 24-year-old’s career highlight at Stamford Bridge was winning the Champions League in the 2020-2021 season, beating Manchester City 1-0 in the final in Porto.
Mount will become United’s first signing of the summer with Erik Ten Hag then set to turn his attentions to bringing in a new goalkeeper, central defender and center forward to form a stronger spine to his team next season.
