Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat ahead of a $32m summer move.
The 26-year-old was a bright spark in La Viola’s run to the UEFA Conference League final last season and caught the eye of several Premier League clubs after an impressive World Cup campaign with Morocco last winter.
Sofyan Amrabat set for Old Trafford switch?
Amrabat only has 12 months left on his contract in Florence and according to Monday’s print edition of the Italian newspaper La Nazione, the Moroccon has already agreed to a move after leaving a good impression on Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag when the pair worked together at Eredivisie side FC Utrecht between 2015 and 2017.
And Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone refused to rule out the rumor last night according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, saying, “He’s (Amrabat) a Fiorentina player now. If an offer comes, we will consider it”.
