USMNT star Christian Pulisic is set to turn down a move to Ligue 1 side Lyon in an attempt to push through a move to AC Milan.
According to ESPN’s Julien Laurens, Pulisic does not see Lyon as the right move currently and wants to play in the Champions League next season, which the Serie A giants can offer.

The USMNT vice-captain has already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri, who can also offer the American a higher weekly salary, due in part to their participation in the Champions League.
Pulisic has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge since the arrivals in the last 12 months of fellow attackers Raheem Sterling, Mykhalio Mudryk, and Noni Madueke, and following this summer’s signings of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, the 24-year-old is now deemed surplus to requirements by Mauricio Pochettino.
The Hershey native will now hope that Milan will match the $27.3m offered by Lyon, with the Black and Reds still $12m below that figure in their evaluation for Pulisic.
