18-year-old Fenerbahce attacking midfielder Arda Guler is set to choose Real Madrid over Barcelona ahead of a move this summer.
As reported yesterday, the Turkish sensation had the opportunity to join both of Spain’s two biggest clubs but according to The Athletic, Guler has decided to choose Los Blancos over the Catalan giants.

Sources close to the deal suggest Carlo Ancelotti’s side wants to seal a deal for the Turkish sensation as quickly as possible and last night the Merengues offered $22m to Fenerbahce- a figure higher than Guler’s reported release clause according to Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.
The offer is believed to include add-ons and a 20% sell-on clause with an official statement expected to be announced by the end of the week.
The news comes on the same night as it was revealed that Real boss Carlo Ancelotti will take over the Brazilian national team at the end of next season following the expiry of his contract at the Bernabeu in 2024.
