Paris Saint-Germain have slapped a $200m price tag on their star asset Kylian Mbappe as speculation over a move to Real Madrid continues.
The 24-year-old striker has made it clear to the French champions that he will not sign a new contract and will therefore be available on a free transfer next summer.
Are PSG set to sell Mbappe this summer?
According to the Spanish newspaper MARCA, Los Blancos are in a good position to land Mbappe either this summer or next and remain confident they can land the world-class forward.
It would be PSG’s preference to negotiate a deal to sell Mbappe this year rather than lose him on a free transfer and are prepared to negotiate a deal with the Merengues this month.

On the same day it was announced that Luis Enrique had been appointed as the Parisian’s new head coach, PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi spoke openly to the French newspaper Le Parisien, “Kylian Mbappe has to decide next week or in two weeks. No more than this. If he does not want to sign a new contract, the door is open.
In a tell-all interview, Al Khelaifi added: “We don’t want to lose the best player in the world for free in 2024, it’s impossible. Mbappé has said that he will not leave for free. If he changed his mind, it is not my fault.”
