Chelsea have blocked teenage Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos from leaving Stamford Bridge on loan this summer.
Santos arrived from Brazilian club Vasco Da Gama in January but was immediately loaned back to the Rio de Janeiro-based outfit until the end of the Premier League season.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, new Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to have been left impressed by Santos during the Blues’ first week back in pre-season training and has not authorized a loan to Porto for the 19-year-old despite reports in Portugal.
Santos fits the profile of Pochettino’s new look Chelsea as the Argentinian looks to lower the age of his Blues side for the upcoming season. Following the departures of the experienced pairing of N’Golo Kane and Mateo Kovacic this summer, there is a strong possibility that Santos- already a Brazilian international- will play a big part for the Blues next season.
