Manchester United are exploring the possibility of including Amad Diallo in a deal to sign Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund.
The two clubs remain apart in their valuation of the Dane and club officials are considering sending the 20-year-old winger back out on loan to Atalanta to help sweeten a deal for first-choice striking target Hojlund.
Amad Diallo set to leave club this summer?
The Ivory Coast international enjoyed a terrific season out on loan last year at Championship club Sunderland- scoring 14 goals in all competitions as the Black Cats reached the Play-Off semi-finals in their first season back in the division.
But according to Sky Sports sources, United boss Erik Ten Hag wants to have a full pre-season with Diallo before he makes a decision on his short-term future having been left impressed following his efforts last term.
Diallo joined United from Atalanta in 2021 for an initial fee of $27.5m but has so far failed to make a real impact at Old Trafford, making only nine appearances in all competitions in two and a half years.
