USA legend Landon Donovan has voiced his disappointment that Christian Pulisic has chosen a move to Serie A over the MLS.
Speaking to FOX Sports, the former Everton forward admitted: “The World Cup is coming in three years. This is once in a lifetime. He’s going to be in the prime of his career. I think it would have been a great move for the Galaxy to go out and get Christian”.

Former US captain Landon Donovan concerned over Pulisic
The 24-year-old forward endured a difficult campaign at Chelsea last season, scoring just one goal in 30 matches in all competitions and Donovan remains unconvinced if he will make the impact expected of him with Serie A giants AC Milan, who he is expected to join this week on a permanent deal.
“My biggest thing is he needs to play”, Donovan said. “At Milan, I would think he’s going to play a lot but you just don’t know”.
