Ex-New York City FC ace Angelino is set to move to Turkish giants Galtasaray from RB Leipzig this summer.
It will be another chapter in the nomadic career of the former Spanish Under-21 international who first made a name for himself at the Yankee Stadium for The Pigeons back in 2015.
Angelino close to summer switch
The former Manchester City man spent last season on-loan at Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim but a permanent switch was not forthcoming despite making an impressive 33 league appearances last term.
Galatasaray will astonishingly become Angelino’s eleventh club of his chaotic career and according to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, the attack minded full-back has already agreed personal terms with last season’s Super Lig champions.
The fee is set to be around $10m for Angelino, only 26, who can also operate as a left-midfielder. The Spaniard was named in the Champions League squad of the season for 2020 and in the 2021 Bundesliga Team of the Season but has failed to kick on in his career since then.
