Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez has been offered an escape route by Galatasaray after a disappointing six years at the club.
The 27-year-old joined Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino in 2017 for a reported $50m and quickly fought for his place in an attempt to dislodge long standing defensive pair Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld who had served the club so well.
Davinson Sanchez set for Spurs exit?
However, the center-back has failed to perform consistently for a number of different managers in North London and in what seems to be his last match for the club, Sanchez was booed on to the pitch as he was substituted on and booed off the pitch as he was substituted off by his own fans just 23 minutes later.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have been offered $10m for the Colombian international with the decision now up to the player with a couple of other unnamed clubs also interested in the center-back’s services.
