Barcelona have completed the signing of 18-year-old Brazilian forward Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense.
The teenage sensation has starred in the Brazilian Serie A since his $5m move from rivals Cruzeiro which became the club’s biggest transfer in their history.

And Roque has not failed to repay that large transfer fee by scoring 22 goals in 66 matches in all competitions at a strike rate of exactly one goal in every three matches.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Barca president Joan Laporta said, “Vitor Roque deal is done and sealed. He’s a Barca player. The deal is expected for 2024- we expect many goals from Vitor. He has his own style, so he can’t be compared to Ronaldo or Romario”.
