Italian giants Inter Milan are set to complete the signing of 22-year-old central defender Yann Aurel Bisseck from Danish club Aarhus.
The highly-rated German under-21 international underwent his medical this morning with the Nerazzuri ahead of his $7.7m plus $550,000 in add-ons move which will be paid to the Danish club over the next three years.
Inter Milan set to sign highly-rated German defender
The signing of Bisseck will lower the age range of fellow Inter central defenders Stefan De Vrij, Francesco Acerbi, and Matteo Darmian who are all on the wrong side of 30.
Last season’s Champions League finalists lost their star defender Milan Skriniar to PSG this summer, speeding the need to bring in a brand new central defender. And Aurel Bisseck, who started his career at German side Koln, appears to fit the bill for Simeone Inzaghi’s side with an announcement confirming his transfer expected to be made later today according to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
